What a darling way to enjoy Easter Day with this adorable set by Dilly Bop Designs. This sweet set is perfect for those more casual Easter events like egg hunts and picnics when you might not want your little one rolling around in her expensive Easter dress! However, this set can easily be made with a skirt, so this set could very well be her sweet little Easter dress. At no additional charge.

What you can expect: Premium cotton fabrics and supersoft cotton tees are combined to create sets so comfy and so wearable that even our littlest customers never want to take them off! Full elastic waistbands and comfy pants or twirly skirts are perfect for running around, lounging around and playing around! Tees with lap-shoulders for the babies and crewnecks for the "big kids" are made of the softest cotton around.

When the Power goes out, the Dog Suffers

Yesterday at 6pm or so, we received a flyer on our door that said...

EMERGENCY ELECTRICAL OUTAGE

Emergency electrical outage tomorrow, Tuesday,

24 February 2009, from 0800-1600

It would've been nice to have a little bit more notice. 8 hours with no electricity! Arrghhh!!! We made the best of it though and Max learned that riding in a stroller isn't so bad.

Ignore the crazy hair. We haven't had the patience to sit down for 10 minutes and make it pretty.

Do you think he like's it?...I didn't think so.

Help me! Help me!

Bean's happy.

Road block. Daddy on the sofa enjoying the only electronic that's working right now.

A Quick Stop At The ER

I was invited to a Partylite party yesterday. D loves candles so I brought him along. Instead of sitting beside me and taking part in the candle activities (which I knew he wouldn't), he was playing with some of the other children that were there.

An hour or so later, after telling D to say goodbye to his new friends, I realize that 5 minutes have passed and I'm still chatting with the girls and D is still playing with the other kids. As I was about to get up to get him, he came rushing over with blood on his chin, hands and running down his neck. He had a pretty nasty gash on his chin.

Turns out, he was throwing paper airplanes back and forth at the other kids and when he reached down real quick to pick up another airplane and throw it, he slammed his chin on the table. Didn't sound right to me looking at the gash but who know's. He's clumsy like his mama.

We rushed home (we were down the street) so Daddy could tell me if he thought he needed to go to the ER for stitches. Daddy gave me the "nod" and off we went. D was freakin' out but I assured him that stitches don't hurt, although I really have no idea if they do or not but he believed me. That's one of those good lies you can tell your children. :-)

Luckily, we got in and out of the ER quickly. I think the nurse felt sorry for him and she moved us ahead of some of the other patients that were waiting. Turns out, he only needed some medical glue to keep the gash closed. Thank goodness.

They started to clean him up and I moved to the head of the gurney so I wouldn't have to look at it anymore. For those of you who don't know, me and blood or gashes or needles and especially IV's, don't mix. And it's not looking at it that's the real problem, it's the thoughts that go through my head. I say that to say, as I'm holding my incredibly brave child's hand I start to feel a little dizzy. I tried so hard to stay "up" but I had to give in. LOL!

I had been eye balling a chair that was calling my name for the last 5 minute's so I just said, "I have to sit down". All the attention turned to me and I said, "I'm fine. Just going to sit right here." One of the nurses followed me to the chair and asked if I was alright. I said I was ok and she said, "Are you sure, you're looking a little gray?"

All ended well. D has a nice new battle wound on his chin. Something to tell his friends about today at school. I learned that I'm great under pressure but when all is good, I fall to pieces. Because D was so brave, we went to McD's for some late night cheeseburgers, minus the onion. :-)

No pictures for this one, I'm sure you can understand why.

1/4 Vanilla

The Hubs doesn't care much for chocolate so I managed to make a 3/4 chocolate iced cake and a 1/4 vanilla iced cake. Nothing fancy, I mean the "boundary" lines aren't even straight. HA! I don't have OCD. And it's not really 1/4, it's more like 3/8. Maybe I do have OCD? Damn it!!!

The picture above reminds me of that Seinfeld episode where Jerry had a Black & White Cookie. It ended up not agreeing with him but I must say, this cake is delicious.

Yummy! Nothing better then yellow cake with chocolate and vanilla icing.

And if you're wondering why the hubs only got 1/4 or 3/8, it's because he's on a "diet" and doesn't want to eat too much sweet stuff.

I'm on a "diet" too but you have to make room for the good stuff in life. I've actually been working on thinking about a blog post for my 35lb.+ weight loss. I just need to take a good "After" photo.

Until then, how about cake?

WoooooooooooHooooooooooooooo!!!! I can not believe it!!! I am so freakin' excited!!!

Many months ago I was contacted by Pregnancy & Newborn magazine. They were interested in having one of my products in a feature story, "The Baby Gear Road Test". So I promptly sent them a sample and patiently awaited the news.

Surprise! Surprise! I received the Pregnancy & Newborn magazine in the mail today and frantically went through it to see if I, and the Car Seat Strap Covers, made the cut.

WE DID!!!
