Motherhood to me is...

smiling for the camera even when you feel like crap.

having the support of a wonderful husband who would gladly gain weight if it made you feel better.

managing to squeeze in one last beauty pic before baby.

having fun no matter how "professional" the situation.

discovering that my little boy...

is now a young man.

realizing that my son has inherited my silly side.

the moments that take your breath away.

a first that will last forever in your heart and in your mind.

allowing time to stop so you can just relax and enjoy those special moments.

discovering that my daughter has been influenced by her brother, in more ways then one.

allowing kids to be kids and...

trying to remember that when they become a human buffet.

Motherhood is this...

It's simple and sweet and full of happiness, love, excitement and so much more.

Bean's 1st time in sand

We went to Panama City Beach in Florida over the weekend and Bean had her first encounter with sand. She sat motionless while in deep thought. "What is this crap my mom and dad put me in and why is it sticking to my body?" Her sunscreen was caked on so it wasn't very easy to brush off the sand.

We didn't stay very long because we were totally unprepared. No cash for an umbrella and chairs, the only one with a bathing suit on was "D" and somebody...was so grumpy that the trip was...well...not very fun. But none the less, we got a few photos and here they are.

My baby is growing up so fast...

My little beanie baby is now turning into my little terror toddler and she is growing up wayyyy too fast. Just to show you how quickly things change I thought I'd share these bathing suit photo's with you. She was born in June and once we had the chance to put her in her first bathing suit, we did.

This is Bean when she was a couple of months old and the bathing suit straps had to be tied in knots to get them to stay on her shoulders.

This is Bean about 2 weeks ago (10 months) and the suit is almost too tight. She was pissed off because I had to put baby sun block on her.

Boy oh boy how things change, but I do look forward to the many many fun and challenging years to come.

Cheese Puffs! Me love CHEESE PUFFS!!

Yesterday afternoon was gorgeous so while "D" was playing on the playground, Bean and I had her snack outside on a sheet. She was eating these cheese puff things and well, the video says it all. It's a little long (3 minutes) but worth it, the last little bit was the best part so make sure you watch it all the way through.

Here's some of the best photographs from yesterday.

Welcome to the South, Strawberry anyone?

Sweet Home Alabamer!!! I have admitted many times that I am not a huge fan of my new (temporary) home, thanks to the Army. But I do love zero rush hour traffic, sweet and helpful people, and picking our own fresh strawberries.

We went to Country Best Farms (only 3 minutes from my house) to pick some fresh strawberries with our friends. The weather was beautiful, the strawberries were delicious and it provided some great Spring Break fun for the little one's.

So you wanna become a Pilot

The Hubs aka Sean, is finishing up flight school to become a Chinook pilot. Pronounced - shin ‘uk. Shin as in shin bone, ‘nuk, as in breakfast nook.

It takes a lot of smarts, a lot of studying and a lot of balls to go through what he goes through everyday. The hubs has no problem with 2 out of 3 of those things. But the studying, well, Bean wants her daddy to put away those books when he's at home. That's my girl!

From Mommy, "D" and J. Bean...we love you Daddy and appreciate all you do for your family. XOXOXOXOXOXO

My new Website Design is UP!!!

Photobucket

Ahhhh...I can breathe a sigh of relief. Most of you may know that I was having a few issues with my first web design. It's far more then just pretty colors on a screen. If the coding isn't right it can screw up your whole site.

But now, thanks to Keely over at ModMelon my new website is adorable, beautiful and working like a charm!

Click on the banner above to go check it out and come back here to tell me what you think. Does it make you want to browse through my site or turn around and run?

Baby of Destruction

A walking (while holding on), teething baby of destruction. My goodness, look at all that drool. She also prefers to eat the letter magnets then to spell with them.
